The start of our day has been a constant delight with
an Indian breakfast buffet. This starts with a startlingly good, made-to-order
Masala Dosa, which are crispy, wafer-thin crepes stuffed with potato and spices
and come with tomato chutney, coconut chutney and vegetable/lentil soup, all for dipping.
This comes with a milky coffee or a masala chai (Indian spiced tea) followed by a chaser of
pineapple, apricots and peaches in syrup or a sugary doughnut dunked in
marmalade. If we are eating for the day then how about a final plate of fried
potatoes, baked beans, mushrooms, fried tomatoes and a lentil patty? Or flattened saffron rice with vegetables? This sets
us up for whatever the day will bring.
